HISTORY
Jeanne Chezard de Matel (1596 – 1670), the 17th-century French foundress of the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, was one person whose spirituality was deeply centered in the Person of Jesus, especially under the title “Incarnate Word”.
The purpose of the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament Sisters is to bring Jesus, the Incarnate Word, to all, to allow the Incarnate Word to unite Himself with us and to work through us to “give birth to Jesus again in the world.”
"I invite all Christians everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ or at least an openness to letting Him encounter them."
Amor Meus Spirituality Center was founded in 2006 as a ministry of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament of Victoria Texas.
