Spiritual Direction/Spiritual Guide

Spiritual Direction is a sacred time to talk and reflect with a spiritual guide or director about your relationship with God, self and others.

In spiritual direction you are invited to become more aware of God’s presence in the ordinary daily experiences of life.

The true spiritual director is God who touches the human heart directly.

The spiritual director does not “direct” in the sense of giving advice or solving problems. Rather, the director helps a person respond to God’s invitation to a deeper relationship.

Amor Meus has trained spiritual directors available for the ministry of spiritual direction.

The frequency of a meeting with a spiritual director is decided by the spiritual director and the directee.

A spiritual direction session is usually an hour.
